Terms of Service
Last updated July 24, 2026
These terms govern your use of HANNAH.MFG's website, courses, and membership. By using our site or purchasing a product, you agree to them.
1. Who we are and acceptance
HANNAH.MFG ("we," "us," or "our") provides educational content, courses, and a membership for independent inventors and makers. By accessing our website or purchasing any product, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the services.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) to purchase. When you create an account, you're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account. Accounts and course access are for one person and may not be shared.
3. Education only — not professional advice
Our content is educational. It is not legal, patent, financial, engineering, or professional advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Any references to patents, IP, manufacturing, costs, or business decisions are general information. You are responsible for your own decisions and for consulting the right professionals for your situation.
4. No guarantee of results
We share methods and experience, but we cannot and do not guarantee any particular outcome, income, sales, or that your product will be manufactured, protected, or successful. Your results depend on many factors outside our control, including your own effort.
5. License to use our content
When you purchase a course or membership, we grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to access the materials for your own use. You may not copy, resell, share, redistribute, record, or publicly post the content, or use it to build a competing product. All content, including videos, text, templates, and tools, remains our property or that of our licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws.
6. Your content and ideas
You keep ownership of your inventions, designs, and any materials you create. Our courses are designed so you never have to submit your actual invention or confidential IP to us. If you choose to send us information, do not share confidential or proprietary details you don't want disclosed; we can't accept responsibility for unsolicited confidential submissions.
7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Share your account or course access with others.
- Copy, scrape, or redistribute our content.
- Attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the services.
- Use the services for anything unlawful or that infringes others' rights.
We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms.
8. Purchases, payments, refunds, and cancellations
Prices are shown at checkout and may change over time. Payments are handled by a third-party processor. Membership subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. The refund and cancellation terms below are part of these Terms.
The Idea-to-Shelf Method — Self-Paced
If the course isn't right for you, contact us within 14 days of purchase and, provided you haven't completed a substantial portion of the material (roughly the first module or more), we'll issue a full refund. This window exists because you receive immediate, lifetime access to the digital course.
The Idea-to-Shelf Method — Cohort
The Cohort comes with our do-the-work guarantee. Go through the material and complete the module knowledge checks. If it hasn't helped you move your product forward, contact us within 30 days of your class start date for a full refund. We'd rather earn your trust than keep your money.
Starter Challenge
If the Starter Challenge isn't a fit, contact us within 14 days of purchase for a full refund.
The Workshop — Membership
- Monthly: Cancel anytime. When you cancel, you keep access through the end of the current billing period, and you won't be charged again. We don't offer partial-month refunds.
- Annual: Cancel anytime to stop future renewals. If you've barely used the membership, contact us within 14 days of purchase or renewal for a full refund; after that, annual payments are non-refundable for the remainder of the term.
You can cancel a membership from your account or by contacting us. Cancelling stops future charges; it doesn't automatically refund past ones except as described above.
How to request a refund
Use our contact page, include the email you used to purchase, and tell us which product you bought. We'll confirm and process eligible refunds to your original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days (your bank may take a little longer to post it).
Refund exceptions
We may decline refunds in cases of abuse, such as repeated purchase-and-refund of the same product, evidence of content downloading or sharing, or requests outside the windows above. Nothing here limits any rights you may have under applicable consumer-protection law.
9. Third-party links and tools
Our content may reference third-party websites, services, or tools (for example, marketplaces, software, or the USPTO). We don't control them and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Using them is at your own risk and subject to their terms.
10. Disclaimers
The services are provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We don't warrant that the services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content is complete or current.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, HANNAH.MFG will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, arising out of or related to your use of the services. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us for the product giving rise to the claim in the 12 months before it arose.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold HANNAH.MFG harmless from claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of the services or violation of these terms.
13. Changes to the services and terms
We may update, add, or remove features and content, and we may revise these terms from time to time. Changes take effect when posted, and the "last updated" date will reflect them. Continuing to use the services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be handled in the courts located there, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
